3nd Annual Workshop coming soon!

That’s right, I said “3nd.” And it’s not exactly “annual,” either. But that’s not the point. The point is that this year will be the best and most thoroughly inspiring workshop we have yet put together. How can I be so sure? Time travel. You’ll see for yourselves, though. We’ve been working hard since summer to put together talks on poetry, writing a zine, writing a script and the whys and wherefores of publishing. Our guests will be a veritable who’s who of local writers and will feature mystery writer Victoria Houston. Not only that, but the scriptwriting sessions will offer an encore presentation of the Rank/Brettingen collaboration “13 Names of Hell!”

I’m so excited that I actually have to bite myself on the hand to stop myself from shrieking, which causes me to shriek!

Check back here for more information soon.

2nd Writer’s Workshop coming up!

Saturday, February 13th

9am – 3pm

Kewaskum High School

This year, the focus will be on actually writing during the conference. Bring paper and pens/pencils/laptop (wireless internet NOT available, sorry!). In addition to sessions on poetry, micro fiction, memoir writing and a scriptwriting/acting workshop, we’re also going to have a critiquing session, an open mic, a writer’s shop AND a panel discussion on publishing.

This will be the best single-day writing workshop to be held in Kewaskum all year!

Lunch will be provided by JOs Restaurant of Kewaskum. Please bring extra money for food.

See you there!
